Ginny + Wilson
They saw each other from across the room, and sparks immediately flew! Who would have thought that a simple happenstance would evolve into true love. That day they found their soulmate. Their future spouse. The love of their life. Ginny and Wilson knew immediately that something magical was about to happen! It only took a few dates before they made their relationship official. Their relationship only grew stronger by exploring Sacramento, playing games together, arguing over books and who they thought was better – the old Taylor Swift or the new Taylor Swift (apparently Wilson has some very strong feelings on this topic. Haha!). Through it all, they learned more about each other and fell deeper in love. They knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together once they noticed all their future plans involved the other one always in it, and they couldn’t imagine it any other way!
When I asked them what was one of their favorite memories from dating, Ginny reflected back to their visit to the Sacramento Lantern Festival. She said between the light of the lanterns and being wrapped up in Wilson’s arms, it was such a beautiful, comforting moment, and she wanted to freeze time right then and there (how cute is that?! It’s like the scene from Tangled, BUT IN REAL LIFE!). From meeting with them at their consultation and then spending more time with them at their Lake Tahoe engagement session, I could tell just how much they brighten each other’s worlds! They’re truly perfect for each other!
A Note to the Couple
Ginny and Wilson, I love how you two can be yourselves around each other. You support one another, make each other laugh, and embrace every new adventure. As Marie Kondo says, “If something sparks joy, YOU KEEP IT!” You two definitely spark joy in each other’s lives, so hold on tight! Your greatest adventure is only just beginning! The two of you (individually and as a couple) make this world a much brighter and happier place, and I’m honored to know you, and be included in one of the most sacred days of your lives. I had a blast with you during your engagement session, and I’m thrilled to celebrate alongside you for your two-day wedding in July! Thanks again for choosing me, and sparking some joy in my life, as well!
Lake Tahoe Engagement Inspiration
Lake Tahoe is nestled in the Sierra Mountains, bordering both the states of California and Nevada. It draws people from all over the world for several reasons – The gorgeous cobalt blue color of the lake, countless fun activities throughout the entire year, and it’s breathtaking views from every corner of the lake! I absolutely adore this intimate yet adventurous feel for engagement sessions! Ginny and Wilson’s engagement session was taken at Sand Harbor State Park, and given its location on the eastern side of the lake, it’s a prime spot for dreamy sunset light while still capturing the depth and beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains.
