I took that leap and now, as a photographer in Sacramento, I get to document you doing that very exact thing. I will always encourage you to believe that you are worthy of your dreams and a life that makes you proud. Each season of your life, no matter how chaotic, deserves to be beautifully captured and celebrated.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I helped international students acclimate to college life in America. Every now and again, at icebreaker events, students asked me what my dream job would be. When I answered with photography, they almost always gave me a confusing look as if to say, “Why are you here, then?” It took me far too long to realize that I was settling for a job that felt natural and safe. Last, but certainly not least, I am head over heels in love with my husband, Dan! We met in college and were married in June of 2009. We have three beautiful little girls.

Dan has been and continues to be my biggest supporter! Before I started my business, he would buy me new lenses and camera gear as gifts. Our ideal date night includes BBQing at home, eating homemade cheese boards paired with wine or beer and playing board games together. Oh, and a 90s alternative band playing in the background. Jimmy Eat World is a fave!

These 3 smart, adventurous and incredibly independent little girls light up our world! It wasn’t until I found out I was pregnant with Madi that I decided to pursue photography full time. They are my heartbeat and give me a whole new perspective on life. I believe they have made me the best possible version of myself.

During the first shutdown in 2020, we welcomed a chocolate lab into the family named Luna. She is a giant teddy bear that will knock you over with her enthusiastic tail-wagging, or become your best friend if you throw a ball for her. She has been the sweetest addition to our family!
And yes, the dog is included!
